What information do we collect?

We collect certain information that you voluntarily provide when you register with Visjou. This information may include personally identifiable information such as your name, photographs, email address, and date of birth, as well as other personal information such as your password, gender, region of residence, sense of style, travel history.  As a registered member, you also will be able to post comments to the website that will be visible to other visitors to the website.  You may access and make changes to your stored account information at any time by logging into your account and editing the ‘My Visjou’ page.

We may use cookies or similar technology to collect information about you, your online behavior, and/or your computer or other device from which you access Visjou.  This information may include your Visjou preferences and settings, IP address, browser type, web pages visited, date and time of those visits, content viewed, the website you arrived from, and other clickstream data.  If you do not want this type of information to be collected, your computer or other device may allow you to block the use of these technologies. (Doing so make affect the functionality of our site.)

If you choose to use any third party social networking services that may be integrated with Visjou, we may also collect information from those services, including personally identifiable information.  The types of information these third parties may make available to Visjou depends on those parties’ privacy policies and on your privacy settings, but may include your email address, user name, password, and other personally identifiable information about you. If you no longer want this information to be collected, you can “unlink” your Visjou account from those services.
